Welcome to my site :)
I started my artistic journey at a young age and just knew that this is what I was meant to do with my life....live to create and create to live.
I have spent the last 22 years on an epic journey to discover, learn, develop and grow as an artist. I believe that is my purpose to "stay inspired".....as a matter of act I had this tattooed on my arm as a reminder to myself!
I like to think that my work is distinctive in it's "Lindsay-ness". I love to use bold colour and am known for my crisp, stylized paintings. I like to think that my work is easily identifiable just like me. The vibrant colour pallet and whimsical approach sets it apart.
When it comes to painting my primary interest is portrait work, often using my own pets or myself as the subject matter. My work is mostly done in acrylic but I recently added oil to my repertoire. I also enjoy sculpture, surface design and printmaking.
It is my love of all art in all forms that has drawn me to Special Effects! It allows me to stretch my imagination , use my skills as an artist and put everything I know to practical use!
I have an Advanced Diploma in Visual and Creative Arts and a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Effects, Prosthetics and Props from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Please feel free to download my resume located at the bottom of the page.
